T.R.E.K. is the outdoor-themed children’s ministry of Red Rocks Baptist Church.  We have special programs for children during each meeting time of our church. These programs are tied together through grade-based curriculum and Bible memorization. Our Elementary Department is specifically designed for children through 6th grade.  All of our children’s ministries are staffed by experienced volunteers who have submitted to national criminal background checks.

Base Camp (Sunday School) – Sundays 9:30-10:25 a.m.

Our age-graded Sunday school is divided into several groups

• 2-3 Year Olds – taught by Mrs. Wilma Scott in room 1009
• 4-5 Year Olds – taught by Mr. & Mrs. Paul Shelley or Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Balderrama in room 1014
• 1^st-3^rd Grade Boys taught by Mr. Fred Fuller in room 1026
• 1^st-3^rd Grade Girls taught by Mrs. Lillian Turner in room 1021
• 4^th-6^th Grade Girls taught by Mrs. Colleen Brisben in room 1022
• 4^th-6^th Grade Boys taught my Mr. Anil Potha in room 1015

Our preschool Sunday school classes use curriculum prepared by Regular Baptist Press. (The 4-year Scope and Sequence can be seen here.)

• 2-3 Year Olds – taught by various teachers in room 1009
• 4-5 Year Olds – taught by various teachers in room 1014

Our preschool church time continues with the lesson materials presented during the Base Camp (Sunday school) hour.

• 1^st-4^th Grade – Church service led by various teachers in room 1035.
• Children join their families for the beginning of the regular main service in the auditorium and are dismissed to Junior Church.
• Singing, missionary stories, puppet skits, power points, and review games make this an exciting and fun service.

Our junior church program utilizes two primary curricula:

1. Firm Foundations: Creation to Christ – A series of 50 lessons covering the Bible from Genesis through the life of Jesus Christ. More information about this material can be obtained from the New Tribes Missions website.
