Dr. Les Heinze, lead pastor 
Pastor Heinze preaches the Bible on a weekly basis, oversees the ministry and shepherds the members of the church. He grew up on a dairy farm and was saved as a college student in Michigan. He has served at the church for over 30 years and earned a Doctor of Ministry degree in 1997. Pastor Heinze has spoken at other churches, conferences, on the mission field, and serves on the board of directors for several organizations. Pastor Heinze and his wife Starry have two grown children and another son who is in Heaven with Christ.
Brian Dukeshier, assistant pastor
Pastor Brian joined the staff of Red Rocks in the summer of 2012. He grew up in South Carolina, is a talented pianist, and has been involved in various music ministries over the last 15 years. He leads and organizes the music ministry of the church. He has an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in music and conducting and is writing his dissertation for his PhD in Choral Studies. Brian also works with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra Choir and is an adjunct profession at Denver University. He and his wife, Laura, have four children.
Zach Sparkman, assistant pastor
Pastor Zach has been at Red Rocks since August of 2016. He has a Masters in Theology and a Masters of Divinity. He loves working with various Bible study groups, teaching God’s Word and overseeing a number of ministries. He is also the preschool pastor for Red Rocks Christian Preschool. Zach is originally from New Hampshire and met his wife Kate at a camp in the mountains of North Carolina. They enjoy hiking, sports, traveling and coffee and being with their three boys, Zane, Xander and Knox.
Paul Shelley, business manager
Paul manages the accounting, human resources and facility needs at Red Rocks, where he has served for almost 20 years. He has a degree in accounting. He and his wife, Lynnae, enjoy volunteering in the preschool Sunday school and spending time with their children, Lydia and Daniel.
Jacob Larsen, pastoral intern
Originally from Maryland, Jacob moved to Red Rocks in the summer of 2018. He works part time at the church as a pastoral intern, serving primarily in the youth department. Jacob is also working on his Master of Divinity degree online. He enjoys drinking coffee, riding his bike and hiking as well as photography.
